SINOPSIS:
After her sister’s first childbirth, the filmmaker moves in with her to share the harsh beginnings of motherhood in the “intimacy of home.” How many scars remain open? Belén has just given birth to her first daughter. Her sister moves in with a camera to live alongside her through the bittersweet process of postpartum confinement. Together, they share experiences and support one another: for one, an attempt to heal the wounds of a traumatic past postpartum; for the other, a search for a way out of an emotional haze that threatens to break her. Revealing their scars, pointing out the flaws of the medical system, and confronting a new reality become topics of conversation between breast pumps and feedings, diapers and cries. Their shared past as carefree young women underscores the abyss that separates them from the resilient women they have become.
